Our first trip of the year is an opportunity to put Winter firmly behind and do nothing other than relax and take it easy. A leisurely sail across the sea in the company of an expert Wildlife Guide. Who will be on hand to expand your knowledge of the ocean’s creatures both above and below the waterline. Your Guide will be the knowledgeable and very affable , Paul Burley.  Whose Wildlife experiences range from the Arctic to Africa  but especially the Bay of Biscay. Which due to Global Warming has become one the World’s most interesting regions to observe cetaceans.

You don’t have to be a Wildlife supporter to join us as this trip is meant as a break from routine as much as a Wildlife cruise. You may relish the opportunity to get away from it all for a short time in good company. Enjoy fine dining and entertainment on board and have a brief stroll around Santander and pick up some retail bargains – wine, beer, duty-free goods etc.

The cost includes the ferry crossing and a 2-berth cabin each way.

Late Spring and early summer in the Bay of Biscay can often produce good sightings of whales and dolphins. As they start their migration north so this Mini cruise a chance to observe a variety of species such as the Fin Whale, Pilot Whales and Cuviers Beaked Whale. It is also the time when Common Dolphins are known to be in good numbers in the northern part of the bay. With other species to look for such as Striped Dolphins and Bottlenose Dolphins it is the perfect way to start your sea watching season.
