Two Special Express Weekends

This February sees the addition of the brand new “Armorique”, to Brittany Ferries' fleet of modern vessels. This state of the art ferry has been specifically designed and built for the Plymouth-Roscoff service and brings the latest style and comfort to this sector of the Channel. Our first trip of the year coincides with its first weekend of service. We hope you’ll try it out with us!

We pick up as shown below on Friday and cross from Plymouth on the 2200 sailing to France. A cabin is provided. On arrival in France we’ll drive to Brest where we’ll stay here during the morning. Around noon we will set off for the outskirts of the town to the Hypermarket for essential shopping. Here you’ll find plenty of refreshment outlets when you are ready for a snack. We will now drive to Roscoff where you’ll have some time to stroll around and enjoy a beer or a coffee.
From Roscoff we will drive to the Red Cash Wine and Beer Warehouse and then into St Pol de Léon for a little sightseeing before we continue to the Passiflore restaurant where we have dinner with wine. We set off for Roscoff around 2030 to catch the 2200 sailing to England.
We arrive at Plymouth at 0800 next day and the coach then returns to the original pick up points.

The cost includes: all travel by executive coach; return ferry crossing with 2-berth cabin (see cabin options below); dinner with wine.

35th Anniversary The Jazz Express!

In 1999 we celebrated our 25th anniversary with a visit to Brittany, which included dinner and an excursion. To celebrate our 35th Anniversary ( where did those 10 years go?) we’re going one better by bringing along the Panama Jazz Band with us to entertain you during the afternoon. And in case anyone can’t make the first date for one reason or another, we are repeating it in the Autumn when it will still be our 35th Anniversary! Co-incidentally, it will be Brittany Ferries’ 35th Anniversary as a passenger line and the new ship “Armorique” will be making the sailings.
On Friday we have arranged early boarding on the ship. Once you’ve acquired your cabin you are invited to join us in the main bar/entertainment area where the Panama Jazz Band will strut their stuff.
On arrival in France we’ll drive the short distance to Morlaix where the weekly market will be taking place and we’ll stay here during the morning. Around noon we will set off for the outskirts of the town to the Hypermarket for essential shopping. Here you’ll find plenty of refreshment outlets when you are ready for a snack.
From Morlaix we will drive to the Red Cash Wine and Beer Warehouse and then into St Pol de Léon for a little sightseeing before we continue to the Kerisnel restaurant where the Band will now play an afternoon session before dinner with wine at 1830. We set off for Roscoff around 2030 to catch the 2200 sailing to England.
