Spanish Minicruise 3 days
Brittany Ferries' Flagship "Pont Aven", the 40,000 tonne cruiseferry sails between Plymouth and Santander each Sunday and returns to Portsmouth on Tuesdays where a coach awaits to bring you back to your original joining point.
It then sails from Portsmouth on Tuesday afternoon to Santander. We offer a coach transfer to Portsmouth to connect with this sailing.
The ship returns to Plymouth on Thursday and we offer a coach transfer back to Portsmouth on specific dates, detailed below, for travellers who joined the ship there.
You are not obliged to take the coach and a reduction is made if you make your own way to and from the ports.
The two night cruise offers you the opportunity to relax and take it really easy with a little time to go ashore in Spain to shop or merely sample a "tapas" or two with a glass of wine or a "San Miguel".
Early booking on high-season dates and the Double Minicruise is recommended, and aslo if you require an upgraded cabin.
Ex-Plymouth
The "Pont Aven" sails from Plymouth on Sundays at 1545. Once you board you may go directly to your cabin and install yourself then begin to explore the many amenities of the vessel.
You'll find a self-service restaurant, coffee shop, gourmet restaurant and piano bar. The main bar is where live entertainment takes place during the voyage. There's a beauty shop and duty-paid shop selling tobacco, beer and wine at keen prices. A bookshop completes the shopping area on Deck 7.
There are two cinemas which show the latest films and an indoor swimming pool. There's a games room and children's play area. Finally at the aft of the ship is a large area of the deck available for taking the sun.
We reach Santander at 1215(Spanish time) on Monday and you may leave your belongings in your cabin when you go ashore. The ship berths in the heart of this charming city and the main square is an easy 10-minute stroll. Just a few steps away from the Terminal there are various bars and shops which will give you the authentic feel of real Spain.
The ship begins its return crossing at 1515 and once again, the amenities are there for you to enjoy. The award-winning Le Flora silver service restaurant offers a unique and very attractive opportunity to dine in style and watch the ocean glide by.
The cruise continues next day as we enter the English Channel and sail eastwards to Portsmouth where we dock at 1415 on Tuesday. After clearing Immigration and Customs formalities you board the coach waiting to bring you back to Plymouth. The drive takes about 4 ½ hours dependent upon traffic conditions.

The "Pont Aven" sails at 1700 on Tuesdays from Portsmouth Ferryport. Join us at the Ferryport or join our coach which leaves Plymouth via Newton Abbot, Exeter and Bridport to take you to Portsmouth.
Make the most of the on-board amenities
such as shops,fine dining restaurant,cinemas,live entertainment,bars,piano bar,quiz competitions,disco etc etc. There's also a swimming pool but it opens subject to weather conditions.
We reach Santander at 1800 on Wednesday and you may leave your belongings in your cabin when you go ashore.

Double Minicruise
We can once again offer the double minicruise this year departing any Sunday from Plymouth and returning to Plymouth on a Thursday (with a cruise to and from Portsmouth in between!!). It is in fact two successive minicruises added together. You are on the ship for four nights making for a 5-day cruise. Cost £160 per person and , if appropriate, double the supplements indicated.
If there are three or four persons in the cabin there will be a reduction of £20 per person off the price quoted above. NB It is only available from Plymouth.
Individual Bookings
If you don't require our coach transfer you can make an individual reservation on either route on any date (subject to availability) and £15 per person is deducted from the cost.
Booking Conditions
Up to February 29th we will accept bookings with a (non-refundable) deposit of £20 per person for any departure but after that date full payment is required at time of booking. No charges are made for credit or debit cards.
If you wish to pay by cheque or postal order please make the booking and then send the payment within the next 5 days. N.B. When you make your booking we need the names of all passengers.
Cancellation.
If you have to cancel more than 15 days in advance we will refund 85% of the cost. If you cancel after that there is no refund and if you fail to show up there is no refund. There is no charge to amend names and these can be amended up to 4 hours before departure.
