All That Jazz

Our growing programme of jazz tours has something for everyone and if you like music you’ll appreciate the 2009 programme which is more diverse than ever. Even if you are not particularly interested in jazz we invite you to look at the programmes as these are holidays above all and the jazz is a bonus. The destinations are chosen with the holidaymaker in mind rather than the jazz enthusiast. You can join any of these tours and enjoy an excellent holiday and have no contact whatsoever with the jazz if you so prefer. The one thing you can guarantee is that you’ll be in amongst a friendly crowd of like-minded people!

The Panama Jazz Band

The band’s motto is “Happy Jazz” and this certainly reflects the members attitude to their music. They excel in playing the jazz classics but are not averse to playing old music hall songs etc.if that brings happiness to the audience. The band always carries with it a bag of “silly instruments” a spare tuba and a washboard and on the right occasion will invite members of the audience to participate. Bob, the Leader, has a fund of jokes-some highly amusing others simply “groaners”. Don’t be misled by their fun attitude for they are also deadly serious exponents of fine jazz. We’ve been taking them abroad for over 15 years and they have consistently delivered the goods to their devoted fans.
