Jazz in Brittany, 5 days

The Band will be returning to Brittany again this year by popular request following the inaugural visit last year. We’ve changed the destination to offer a different view of the Province but the basic format has been tried and tested over many years and needs little adjustment.
We set off on Friday and cross at midday arriving in France at 1900 and then travel east to the Hotel Ibis at Lannion for four nights. This modest 2* hotel has been very popular with our clients for several years, clean and comfortable with a friendly atmosphere, it’s ideal for such a visit. The main attraction is its bar area where the Band will play, an interesting mix of typical British pub and classic French bar. Food-wise, the hotel offers an unassuming cuisine, plain and simple and has invited not a single complaint from any of our groups – probably a record! The Band will tune up with a few numbers to round off the day.
Next day we drive to St Brieuc, main city of the Cotes d’Armor region, where it is market day and you can enjoy the lively and colourful atmosphere of a country town going about its Saturday morning business. In the afternoon we will drive to Binic for a stroll along the promenade before returning to Lannion. After dinner at the hotel, the Band will play for your entertainment.
On Sunday we have a free morning which will give you time to explore Lannion and take a stroll along the river. In the afternoon we will make the short drive to St Michel en Greve to catch some sea breezes.
On Monday we are travelling to the popular resort of Perros Guirec on the Pink Granite Coast. We’ll visit the harbour area then continue to Trestraou Beach. We return to the hotel for dinner and more entertainment from the Band.
We leave the hotel on Tuesday morning and travel to the outskirts of Morlaix for a visit to the Hypermarket.We then spend some time in Morlaix town centre. Our final port of call will be the Red Cash Wine and Beer Warehouse and then we catch the mid-afternoon ferry to Plymouth. This reaches England around 2030 and the coach will then return you to the original pick up points.

The cost includes: all travel by executive coach; ferry crossing ; four nights at a 2* hotel; buffet breakfast; dinner with wine , entertainment by the Band; all excursions
