Welcome to Wessex Continental Travel 2012
We present our coach holiday programme for 2012. It contains a mix of short breaks and longer holidays, jazz tours, wine tours and the Spanish Minicruise. We've put together exclusive holidays that you won't find elsewhere. What you won't see is "Low cost"; "Budget"; "Prices Slashed"; "20% Off" or similar nonsenses. We do not do things on a shoestring nor expect our suppliers to do so.
We work very closely with Brittany Ferries using their services to Santander, Roscoff and Normandy. Our main destinations are the South West regions of Europe such as Brittany, Green Spain (Asturias, Cantabria, Basque Country) and in addition to regular holidays we also specialise in Jazz Tours and Wine Holidays. Most of our tours depart from Plymouth Ferryport which means for the majority of our clients, a short journey to and from home at the beginning and end of your holiday but we also use Portsmouth Ferryport on some occasions. In the past four years we have been responsible for the Spanish Minicruise to Santander which operates from either Plymouth or Portsmouth.
For others, joining us from longer distances, you have an straightforward drive or good rail connection to Plymouth, extremely easy parking arrangements right in front of the Terminal.
We explain our holidays as honestly and factually as we can within the following pages and from the information given we hope you will be able to make an informed choice.
There are no flights of fancy, we have personal experience of everything we do.
All the tours are designed to be as leisurely paced as possible so we don't pack too much into the day and we give you plenty of time to relax. It's your holiday - not a test of your
endurance!

We have been operating holidays since 1974 and at one time had offices in Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol and Portsmouth. Times change and we have changed with them. However, we have always had a first class reputation for honesty and integrity and that has never changed.
We are totally independent, don't belong to any associations or have any connection with any other company or organisation.
We have no debt. We don't borrow and have neither the need nor the intention to do so in future.
