This holiday offers the opportunity to explore a another part of the Cantabrian coast and also the chance to visit the Basque Country. Once again, we stay at an excellent hotel which has pleased our clients for many years Our base is the 4* Hotel Juan de la Cosa which overlooks a long, sandy beach giving out to the Atlantic Ocean. Spacious and comfortable rooms, all with private facilities,of course, good food and a friendly welcome are the basic requirements from any hotel and this modern hotel has all this in abundance. There’s a small indoor swimming pool, lounge, free computer and internet access, restaurant and bar, terrace café and gardens.

We set off as shown below and pick up as indicated below en route to Plymouth. Here we catch the 1630 sailing to Santander. The cruise is part of the holiday and you will be able to enjoy the on-board amenities as we sail to Spain. When we land in Santander on Monday at 1300 we drive out of the city and eastwards into Cantabria. We will reach the hotel after about 30/45 minutes and will check in for three nights . After checking in, a tapas lunch will be served. In the late afternoon the coach will drive into Santoña for a stroll around this little resort and fishing port before dinner.
On Tuesday we travel to Bilbao and pay a visit to the Guggenheim Museum of Modern Art. You can stay here as long as you like or you may prefer to have a short stay here then explore lively Bilbao, capital of the Basques . In the late afternoon we return to the hotel .
On Wednesday morning we drive eastwards to the charming resort and fishing port of Castro Urdiales where we will spend the morning. In the early afternoon we begin our return to the hotel and stop off en route at Laredo, a popular Spanish holiday resort, for sightseeing.
We leave on Thursday and make our way to the Hypermarket on the outskirts of Santander and then some final sightseeing in Santander itself before boarding for the 1630 sailing to Plymouth. We reach England at 0930 on Friday and the coach then returns to the original pick up points.

The cost includes: all travel by executive coach; ferry crossing with 2-berth cabin ; three nights at a 4* hotel; buffet breakfast and dinner with wine; tapas lunch; all excursions including entrance to the Guggenheim Museum.
